After the collapse of Baugur Group, toy
retail shop had gone under the control of Landsbanki, nationalized bank
of Iceland. Thus, before the empowerment of Hamleys shop by Ludendo Group, it has remained under control
of Landsbanki bank.
Currently,
the company has gone in the hands of Ludendo
Group of France operating 300 toy retail stores in Spain, France, Switzerland
and Belgium. The French Group has acquired the toy store as part their business
strategy to enhance his portfolio in the coming few years. According to Jean-Michel,
